Parsons is a 4th degree Kukkiwon certified blackbelt and has taken and passed the 3rd Class Kukkiwon International Master Instructor Course. He is also a pioneer Arch Taekwondo member. He is an experienced competitor and has medaled at many local, state and regional tournaments in both sparring and poomsae. Parsons is also a Class D USA Taekwondo-certified referee.
Parsons is a theology graduate of St. Louis University and is a library assistant with the St. Louis County Library system. He lives in the St. Louis area with his wife Sarah and their cat Trillian.
