We believe the practice of Taekwondo and other martial arts is a great way to relieve stress and develop confidence, resilience and strength.
Taekwondo is a wholesome form of mental and physical exercise. It’s also a solid system of self defense, in which a broad range of blocks, evasion, dynamic kicks, punches, joint-locks and throws are applied to avoid and fend off attackers.
The Kukkiwon style of Taekwondo we practice is also an exciting Olympic sport.
Our dojang specializes in Kukkiwon Taekwondo because that’s what we know best. Our teachers have dedicated significant parts of their lives studying Taekwondo and continue to learn the art under internationally recognized martial artists from the Kukkiwon’s World Taekwondo Academy in Korea.
We adhere to the ethical standards and tenets promulgated by the Kukkiwon; USA Taekwondo, the nation’s Olympic governing body for World Taekwondo style competition and the United States National Taekwondo Federation founded and led by Grandmaster Dr. Duk Gun Kwon, 9th Dan.
